Course Overview

From Knowledge to Practical Application

Building on the foundation established in Level 1, this course develops the practical skills needed to apply human factors principles in day-to-day maritime operations. Through realistic scenario-based exercises, you will practise decision-making under pressure, structured communication, and effective team coordination.

Level 2 bridges the gap between understanding human factors and actively managing them — equipping watchkeepers, supervisors, and operational staff with tools they can use immediately onboard or ashore.
